Edward Tapia


 

Biography:
 
EDWARD TAPIA was born in Lower East Manhattan in New York city. However, he moved to Florida 9 years ago.  He was born with a cleft palette, Cleft lip, and heart murmur.  He didn't have speech until he was five years old.  At the age of 15 Edward was suicidal due to feeling bullied, unwanted, unloved, and rejected.  However, God had a plan for his life and he was not able to fulfill the suicide.  Edward has learned that true beauty dwells on the inside and reflects on the outside. Edward has shared his story as invited guest speaker at various events including public schools, mental health conferences, as well as hospital camps.  This is his opportunity to make a difference in people's lives. Edward is a proud father of 4 children and a grandfather of 1 with another on the way. He is the epitome of the distinct family man. 

Today Edward is a singer, actor, and international model.  He has modeled in NYFW, LAFW, WCFW, DURHAM FASHION WEEK, and NEW ORLEANS Fashion week just to name a few.  He's walked for various designers in various fashions shows throughout the U.S and out of the country.  He's also been featured in several magazines.  Edward was a finalist on the reality TV series "The Fashion Hero, hosted by Brooke Hogan. Edward has been involved in pageantry since 2016. He is a brand ambassador model involved with London/UK "WOW Pageants", S&M Custom Design by Designer Santia, and his current title is "Mr. Man of Distinction International Duke II”.
