Austine Ikeru Biography and Net Worth

Austine Ikeru is a popular Nigerian blogger, writer, YouTube personality, entrepreneur and a Nollywood movie producer. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Austine Media. He is also the founder of Clement Ikeru Inspiration and Clement Ikeru Documentary. He is also the Executive Producer of Austine Media Production. He is very handsome, gifted, skillful, creative and talented. He was born on 16th January 1991 in Obudu, Cross River State in the south southern part of Nigeria to Mr. Godwin Ikeru and Mrs. Agnes Ikeru. He is currently 31 years old. He is originally from Orsumoghu in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State in the south eastern part of Nigeria.

Austine Ikeru was born and raised in a Catholic Christian family. He is the second child in the family and has five siblings. He began writing at the age of 11 years old. Austine Ikeru completed his primary school education at Vatical International School Obudu, Cross River State, Nigeria and obtained his First School Leaving Certificate in 2002 at the age of 11 years old. After which he completed his secondary school education at Model Commercial Secondary School Obudu, Cross River State, Nigeria and obtained his West African Senior School Certificate in 2008 at the age of 17 years old.

In 2009, at the age of 18 years old, Austine Ikeru got admitted to Enugu State University of Science and Technology and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication at the age of 21 years old in 2012. To assist his family and support himself through school, Austine Ikeru had part-time jobs as a Perfume Seller, Class Tutor, Handout Seller and Writer. After graduating from the university, Austine Ikeru completed his mandatory one year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Edo State, where he taught Literature in English and English Language at Akoko Edo Grammar School. 

After completing his NYSC in 2014, Austine Ikeru relocated to Lagos to search for jobs. He got a jobs interview in Television, Radio and Newspaper Company’s in Lagos but was rejected. He then went back to Enugu in January 2015 where he got a job as a hotel attendant. He worked for three months and quit the job because the pay was very poor. He then relocated back to Lagos where he got a job as a news reporter at Skyrocket News. He worked in the company for six months and quit after the company couldn’t pay him after owing him four months’ salary. 

In August 2015, Austine Ikeru joined GNLD network marketing and worked with the company for five months. He later quit the network marketing business after he discovered that the business wasn’t lucrative. In January 2016, Austine Ikeru got a job at Comprehensive Secondary School Lagos as a Literature in English teacher. While in the school as a teacher, Austine Ikeru started reading Linda Ikeji Blog and got inspired. In April 2016, Austine Ikeru decided to create his own blog and that was how Austine Media was founded. 

He started the blog as part time and combined it with his job as a teacher because at that time the blog wasn’t paying him at all. He only survived with his #22,000 monthly salary he received from the school as a teacher. After working in the school for six months, in July 2016 he was sacked by the school management after they discovered that he was blogging. The school management sacked him and told him to go home and continue blogging. 

In September 2016, Austine Ikeru got another job as a Literature teacher at Mata Christi Girls High School in Igede Ekiti, Ekiti State in the south western part of Nigeria. He worked in the school for one year and later resigned to focus on his blogging career. In August 2017, Austine Ikeru relocated back to Lagos and focused full time on his blog. In September 2017, he created his YouTube Channel Clement Ikeru Inspiration. His channel has garnered over 260,000 subscribers with over 40 million views. In April 2019, Austine Ikeru created his second YouTube channel Clement Ikeru Documentary. Austine Ikeru has been nominated for several awards. In 2020, he was nominated for best blogger of the year at Naija Traffic Awards. In 2018, his blog was nominated for Best Entertainment Blog at the Nigeria Blog Awards.

Austine Ikeru is also a motivational speaker and a social media influencer. He has influenced many people to success. He is a role model to many people who have tapped from his wealth of knowledge. 

In 2019, Austine Ikeru ventured into Nollywood as a movie producer and produces his first movie titled Expensive Mistake which featured Nollywood celebrities like Chinwe Owoh, Prince Nwafor, Rubby Orjiakor and Chukwudi Okoro. The movie is now showing on Africa Magic and also showing on his YouTube Channel. 

In February 2020, Austine Ikeru met his beautiful wife Cynthia Obianuju. They dated for one year and got married on 27th February 2021. His beautiful wife is from Enugu-Ezike in Igboeze North Local Government Area of Enugu State in the south eastern part of Nigeria. His wife is a graduate of Enugu State University of Science and Technology.
