Kervens Belfort Fils, born May 16, 1992 in Petit-Goâve (Haiti) is a Haitian football player. He is an attacker and currently plays under the colors of Abahani Limited Dhaka (Bangladesh).

Club career Kervens Belfort Fils is the revelation of the year 2008 in Haiti, with the Storm FC, winning the opening championship 2008. He confirms the following season by being crowned a second time, which earned him to be voted best player of the Haitian championship. After a third title in 2010, he arrives on September 19, 2010 at the training center of Benfica Lisbon that he integrates without obtaining a professional contract. After only nine days in Benfica, he made a conclusive three-week test at Le Mans where he met his compatriot Jeff Louis.

He made his first start on the first day of the 2011-2012 Ligue 2 championship against AC Arles-Avignon (1-0 defeat) where he missed a face to face with Ludovic Butelle in the 32nd minute. He scored his first professional goal against Sedan on 20 August 2011 in the 26th minute and even doubled the score in the 55th minute of play. He scored his third goal of the season on day 13 against Boulogne-sur-Mer. A goal that offers victory in the Sarthe since it is scored in stoppage time and the score was 0-0.

Following the breach of contract of the players at Le Mans FC (after the relegation of the club), he can join FC Sion in September 2013, where he plays with the U21 at first until his transfer is effective at January 1, 2014. While he was to remain at the club until June 2015 and he had participated in the preparation camp with the group of first division, led by Laurent Roussey, the Swiss club, having reached the quota of extra players -community, tells him he could not play for 4 months, waiting for his license. From 2015, Kervens Belfort leaves France and begins a career as a globetrotter who sees him play successively in Cyprus (Ethnikos Achna, 2015), Turkey (1461 Trabzon (in), 2015-2016), India (Kerala Blasters FC , 2016-2017), Sweden (Syrianska FC, 2017) and Azerbaijan (ZirÉ™ FK, 2017). In August 2017, he returned to Indian Super League to play Jamshedpur FC3. Career in national team Author of 12 goals in 41 games since his first call with the national team in March 2010, Kervens Belfort son is a major player of the Grenadiers of Haiti 2010. He competes in the World Cup qualifiers of 2014 and 2018 (13 games and 4 goals in all). On the bench during the 2013 Gold Cup, he made up for it by winning the 2015 Gold Cup, playing three games4. On 8 January 2016, on the occasion of the Copa América Centenario play-offs, he scored an important goal against Trinidad and Tobago, which allowed his country to participate for the first time in Copa America5 . Kervens Belfort Fils est la révélation de l'année 2008 en Haïti, avec le Tempête FC, en remportant le championnat d'ouverture 2008. Il confirme la saison suivante en étant sacré une deuxième fois, ce qui lui vaut d'être élu meilleur joueur du championnat haïtien. Après un troisième titre en 2010, il arrive le 19 septembre 2010 au centre de formation du Benfica Lisbonne qu'il intègre sans obtenir de contrat professionnel. Après seulement neuf jours au Benfica, il réalise un essai concluant de trois semaines au Mans où il retrouve son compatriote Jeff Louis.
Il effectue sa première titularisation lors de la 1re journée du championnat de Ligue 2 2011-2012 contre l'AC Arles-Avignon(défaite 1 à 0) où il rate un face à face avec Ludovic Butelle à la 32e minute. Il marque son premier but professionnel contre Sedan, le 20 aout 2011, à la 26e minute et double même le score à la 55e minute de jeu. Il marque son troisième but de la saison lors de la 13e journée contre Boulogne-sur-Mer. À la suite de la rupture de contrat des joueurs du Mans FC (après la relégation du club), il peut rejoindre le FC Sion, en septembre 2013, où il joue avec les U21 dans un premier temps en attendant que son transfert soit effectif au 1er janvier 2014. Alors qu'il devait rester au club jusqu'en juin 2015 et qu'il avait participé au stage de préparation avec le groupe de première division, dirigé par Laurent Roussey, le club suisse, ayant atteint le quota de joueurs extra-communautaires, lui annonce qu'il ne pourrait pas jouer pendant 4 mois, en attendant sa licence. Ne voulant pas rester 4 mois sans jouer, il rejoint le Grenoble Foot 38, le 31 janvier 2014, sous forme de prêt. Le club évolue alors en championnat de France amateur et vise la montée en National1. En juillet 2014, il recale à l'Étoile Fréjus Saint-Raphaël (club de National) où il rejoint ses compatriotes Dominique Jean-Zéphirin et Jean-François James (en)2.
À partir de 2015, Kervens Belfort quitte la France et entame une carrière de globe-trotter qui le voit jouer successivement en Chypre (Ethnikos Achna, 2015), Turquie (1461 Trabzon (en), 2015-2016), Inde (Kerala Blasters FC, 2016-2017), Suède(Syrianska FC, 2017) et Azerbaïdjan (ZirÉ™ FK, 2017). En août 2017, il revient en Indian Super League afin de jouer au Jamshedpur FC3.
Carrière en équipe nationale[modifier | modifier le code]
Auteur de 12 buts en 41 matchs depuis sa première convocation avec l'équipe nationale en mars 2010, Kervens Belfort fils est un joueur majeur des Grenadiers d'Haïti des années 2010.
Il dispute ainsi les éliminatoires des Coupes du monde de 2014 et 2018 (13 matchs et 4 buts en tout)4. Sur le banc lors de la Gold Cup 2013, il se rattrape en étant titulaire lors de la Gold Cup 2015 dont il joue trois matchs4.
Le 8 janvier 2016, à l'occasion des barrages de la Copa América Centenario, il est à l'origine d'un but important face à Trinité-et-Tobago qui permet à son pays de participer pour la première fois à la Copa América5. Il prend part aux trois rencontres que son pays dispute lors de ce tournoi aux États-Unis4.
