“Sir Rockwell”

Steven Warner known to most as “Sir Rockwell” is a graduate of Wolmer’s Boys High School in Kingston Jamaica.  He went on to study and receive degrees in both Commercial Art and Business Administration from the University of Maryland, College Park.   Achieving all this while regularly DJ’ing at college parties.  Sir Rockwell relocated to South Florida became involved in the local radio scene.

For the past 20 years, Sir Rockwell has been building a following of loyal listeners both in South Florida and around the world.  He has the distinct honor of being the only radio personality to have graced the airwaves on all the Caribbean formatted stations in South Florida.  In addition, Sir Rockwell has become one of the most requested Caribbean wedding DJ/MC.

Sir Rockwell has gone from community radio in Broward County to on-air personality at WAVS 1170 AM to Program Director for the Palm Beaches very first 24 hr. Caribbean station to now devoting his time as owner of RockDaBox.net.  For the past six years, Sir Rockwell has focused on building and branding his popular on-line station. The hard work has paid off.  His morning program; the "Wake up and Live Show" has become the most syndicated Caribbean formatted morning program in world.  Heard via a minimum of 41 other stations worldwide, on three continents, the "Wake Up and Live Show" has had "A" list guests such as season five The Voice winner; Tessanne Chin, Miss Jamaica/World; Laurie-Ann Chin, the cast of Celebrity Mamas of the ATL and co-hosts such as actor and painter Paul Campbell and many more. 

With over 200,000 listeners world-wide via the affiliates, Sir Rockwell has become a household name and is poised to do great things with internet radio.
