AusteenEboka is the CEO/Director of MacMedia Productions, LLC., former Director of Programs for Fuxion TV (Atlanta’s Multicultural Television Station), VP Admin for Afrimedia Entertainment, LLC., a member of the Screenwriters and Actors Guild – Diaswood Network.

Eboka is a Thespian, Film Director, Producer, Screenwriter and Actor. In addition to being a filmmaker, AusteenEboka also offers services as a Film Consultant and writes proposals (film packages) for filmmakers seeking funding from investors.

Austeen is a pioneering member of NOLLYWOOD - Nigeria’s Film industry. He starred in several.  initial Nollywood movies which marked the advent of the now booming film industry in Africa, and the second in the world before leaving the country for the proverbial ‘greener pastures.’ 

He started his acting career in 1980 and featured prominently on Nigerian soaps/series in the ‘80s. He directed, as well as acted in several stage plays, while participating on the Federal Radio Corporation  of Nigeria (FRCN) segment of  ‘Voices’, and NTA (Nigerian Television Authority) cultural showcase programs.

From 1988 to 1990, he was the Drama Co-coordinator for the School of Nursing, University of Lagos. 

He was also the Administrative Director for Kranom Productions, a theatrical productions outfit.

As an Independent Filmmaker resident in Atlanta, GA, Austeen is a multiple award winner for Best Film Director, Best Film in the Diaspora at the African Oscars/NAFCA, Royal Reel award from the Canada International Film Festival with his last film bagging the award for    
Best Actress at the Hollywood Weekly Magazine Films Festival, and a Humanitarian Award recipient. He has also featured in leading roles in several Diaspora films.

With an MBA in Business Management, Austeen worked in various managerial capacities acquiring 

a wealth of professional experiences in Banking, IT, Telecommunications, Real Estate and the Mental Health field. Adding to his artistic repertoire, In 2011, he co-produced the first ever collaborative film venture between Ukraine and Nigeria titled “Feathered Dreams” (www.feathereddreams.com),

Austeen’s passion lies greatly in the Arts. He maintains that, “Our greatest weakness lies 
in giving up; the most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time, going out on a 

limb because that's where the fruit is.” His hobbies include swimming, chess, poetry and martial arts.
