Homère L. Jean


Homère L. Jean ( Born January 01,1970) Cavaillon in the south of Haiti. Actor, Journalist, Writer, Host, Poet. Homer L. Jean studied elementary school there. He returned to Port-au- Prince for his high school and university studies. Homer studied journalism, international relations and diplomacy. On the initiative of the National Diplomatic and Consular Academy (ANDC), Homer Jean had made a study trip to Washington where he was to study the functioning of the American system and government (accelerated formation). Very young, Homer made his radio debut in the Caribbean. Soon after, he founded his diary, Détente Magazine: a magazine of variety, a socio-cultural magazine. In 1990, he was found on the national radio station under the administration of Ady Jean Gardy.

He has published articles in the columns of newspapers including Le Nouvelliste, Union, La Reforme, Le Rouleau etc. Presenter of the program Words of Education for which he signed a contract with the World Bank through the Unit of Education and Training Projects (UPEF). Broadcast produced by Educational Radio and broadcast on the National Television of Haiti (TNH) and Télé Haiti (TH). Homer L.

Jean has served his services to leading personalities and institutions in Haiti: Press and Public Relations Officers at the National Migration Office (ONM). Press Attaché at the Ministry of the Interior and member of Cabinet of Minister Wilthan Lhérisson. Cabinet member of the Minister of Commerce, Gérald Germain. Member of the Office of the President of the Superior Court of Accounts and Administrative Litigation, Mr. Gilbert Myrthil and Assistant Chief of Protocol of the said Court. Director of Communication at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Member of the Cabinet of Mr Laurent Lamothe.
Cabinet Member: Ady Jean Gardy and Thierry Mayard Paul. Homer assisted Ministers including Wilson Laleau, Pierre Richard Casimir.

Immigrated to the United States of America on the eve of 2000, Homer lived there for a decade-where he hosted several programs on various radio and television stations, including: 980 AM, WHSR; 1340 AM, WPBR; 1600 AM, WHTY and Kajou TV. Homer L. Jean graduated in business administration from Florida Carrer College (FCC). He has performed in films including Laura 1, Laura 2, Choque Terrible, La Praère d'Isha and Marozo. Now, he conducts every morning from Monday to Friday on Bonjour Matin Bonjour Soleil, a column entitled: Productivity on WPBR, 1340 AM, 96.1 FM, 97.5 FM. Also, it is important to mention that Homer L. Jean works as a marketing manager at PSJ Law and Associates.
