TAD SHARPE

Biography:

Tad Sharpe is a New York born and raised auteur. Queens, the land of many accents and people. At 10 yrs. old was relocated to Miami Florida where a different sound of humans existed. He had vocational training in electronics at 14 in high school, fixed stereos/TVs and designed/built odd devices and noisemakers, occasional lightning generators. He left for college at 18, studied electrical engineering. He worked for the air force at 21, wrote a book for their space center. At 22 worked at a nuclear plant and at 24 went to Nasa in Maryland after the plant was completed before schedule. at 26 the HORRIBLE weather brought him back to Florida. SNOW IS NO FUN and ice is worse.

His first music instrument was an acoustic guitar, at age 6. It was assassinated shortly thereafter. The second was around ten. Christmas two years later brought an electric guitar and amp, sent by an aunt. His mother called it an act of war. He got kicked out of the house ever day with until the next-door neighbor shot at him and amplifier. Police were called, the perp did a year. Those instruments made it thru college years, entertaining other students and providing musical therapy.

 Back in Florida he was hired by the local city as senior systems engineer over the city's technical needs including all computers, radios, tv stations, police & fire emergency equipment, power generators, and anything with electricity in it.  Early retirement came at 49 due to health complications.> Music

Tad Sharpe plays guitar, bass, keyboards including piano and organ, fiddle, harmonica, synthesizers, drums, percussion, beat boxes, xylophones, balalaikas, ukulele and anything he can get to emit sound. He is the producer/owner of www.tadsharpemusic.com<http://www.tadsharpemusic.com> his record label with 30+ bands in many genres including techno, EDM, punk rock, industrial rock, heavy metal, spanish, french gypsy jazz, holiday music, rap, world music, and others. He has written, recorded, and produced sixty selling albums that are heard by over 130,000 people in 62 countries.

Film/Video Production

Tad Sharpe has a LONG list of short films, music videos and one feature.  Awards have been received from thirteen film festivals worldwide including in India, England, Tazmania, and in the USA in Florida and Los Angeles. Two awards have been for music videos, both from Los Angeles.  His films are mostly G rated B comedies done in one take, one scene, one shot, with improvised acting. Acting

Tad Sharpe started paid acting late in life, prior to retirement to have something to do. He is listed in IMDB and other film/tv databases and sites. He has done lead roles for web series and films, supporting roles for a theatric released film, and work as an extra in several tv series. He has worked for four talent agencies. He has turned down opportunities to cast for ABC and CBS television.

Photography

Tad Sharpe is a worldwide award-winning photographer. His artistic prints started selling at $350 each in art galleries around 1995. He went on to do photography pro bono for actors in the south florida area and has done head shots for many of the actors currently seen on tv commercials, films and a billboard on US1 in browed county.
