TOBY, whose real name is Owen Martinez FAVA, is a young Haitian artist who plays rap music; Born in Port-au-Prince, November 3, 1990, at the French Asile Hospital. Three years later, because his father Mr. Jean -Sylvestre FAVA, a member of the Haitian Armed Forces at the time, was transferred to the Haitian Cape, as part of his military services; Owen had to leave the capital to go live in the second city of the country, city originating from his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth LOUIS.

Hence his passion for rhythm. His penchant for music was breathed especially by his aunt, who was chorister in an evangelical church. Surely he inherited his musical genes from his grandfather, (Toby), troubadour guitarist. His hallucinatory resemblance with the latter has earned him the sobriquet "TOBY" which he carries today as artist name. Since his childhood, at the primary school of the Collège Le Phare, his side poet was going to manifest. He began to write little poems to charm the girls of his class. (Fieffé galant that he is ...) And very quickly he is confirmed as a Street-poet lyrical, who juggles with verses that he entonne night and day on all the cobblestones of the city CHAUVEL.

An artist's career on the horizon At the age of fourteen, when he was in his ninth year at the Collège Pratique du Nord; he made himself known to the general public in an exceptional performance, during a cultural show: HOT SATURDAY, organized by the central committee of the College. And that day, he had become the STAR of the school. His popularity rose to the top of the show. From then on he began his career as an artist, followed by a plethora of performances from neighborhoods to neighborhoods, from city to city. The saga continued on its way. And TOBY, thanks to his genius has attracted all the glances of the HIP-HOP community on him. Several labels of the place make him offers rather enticing. While he was in for talks with TRAKA MUSIC GROUP (TMG), following the release of his track "MANIPULATION" with WENDY; TOBY was contacted by RKM, a big size in the Haitian RAP-BUINESS. After the necessary steps and discussions, Owen Martinez FAVA finally signed with RKM Recordz in APRIL 2015 to begin a thrilling musical adventure.
