Biography:

Marie Michelle Desrosiers is a versatile artist, an icon well known in Haiti, the French Caribbean, and North America, as a talented stage play writer, screenplay writer, actress, storyteller, songwriter, solo dancer, and novelist.She is the Chairman Executive of SICATY ENTERTAINMENT.

Marie Michelle Desrosiers is a versatile SAG/AFTRA ELIGIBLE. A well known icon in Haitian Community, the French Caribbean, and North America for decades. She is a talented stage play writer, actress, storyteller, songwriter, solo dancer, and novelist. Ms. Desrosiers began her artistic career in 1970. She joined the most prestigious Dance Group, where she became a solo dancer, Co-founder of BOUKAN GINEN. (YouTube "pale pale'w 1804). In 1982, she studied 'History of the Theatre' and the 'Contemporary and Classical Dance' at School of the Arts “National Theatre” also called “Theatre De Verdure". She also studied the 'Performance Arts' at “French Institute of Haiti” and "Enarts". In 1983, after a successful career in a Haitian TV Series entitled “Meli-Melo de Dubreus”, Ms. Desrosiers joined the famous Theater Company Jesifra Production (1988-2014). She became a regular cast member with a career spanning for four decades. These are among the most requested performances in the Haitian local community and abroad. Ms. Desrosiers became a household name in Haiti, throughout the French Caribbean, and North America.

Her first written stage play “Manman Se Poto Mitan", an adaptation based on a true story, is guaranteed to keep the audience on the edge of their seats. Her Second Written Stage Play: "Annafe Pa Domi Di" is a great adaptation based on multiple beliefs that allows the audience to go deeper in thought, which in return hope to open ones eye to believe in the greater good. These dramas explore the depths of human emotions and are deeply rooted and fit in any culture, especially Haitian culture "Broadway style".
