Saintanor S. Camilus


Filmmaker and recording artist Saintanor S. Camilus is a Haitian-American director born in Saint-Marc, Haiti (née December 25, 1979). He moved to the United States when he was 14 to reunite with his immigrant parents. He then graduated high school and went to Everglades University where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

As Camilus has a great passion for arts and music, in 2002 he and some friends created a Creole Hip-hop group called Sky’z Da Limit. The group recorded an album in 2003 called Haiti: Love & Politiks. Camilus and the group performed at the Haitian Compas Festival in 2003, and made the front page of the Miami Herald, Palm Beach Post, and Sun-Sentinel. Camilus and the Sky’z Da Limit crew have also performed at several colleges and universities throughout the state of Florida.

Saintanor S. Camilus has established himself as one of the great filmmakers in the Haitian film industry. He attended several film seminars, where he received certificates of excellence in acting and directing. Camilus is still recording new music, and in November of 2015 he debut his new solo single: “Cheri-w Mèt Ale,” featuring Black Alex, to pay homage to the artist who recently passed.

Camilus is the founder of “Saint Mic Productions, Inc.”, the company that produced all of his features film: Suppress Emotions (2011) (Official Selection of Downtown Boca Film Festival 2011), Un Monde Séparé (2012), Puissance De La Foi (2014), Fwi Entèdi (2012-2014), Doukounou (2015) and he also works with other filmmakers: Jean Claude Guillaume, Ronny Mentor, Woodley Isnady and Jean E. Fenton as well as well-known actors and actresses: Hubermann Saintil, Rodly “Oz’mosis” Madeus, Smoye Noisy, Jean Gardy Bien-Aime, Adeline Julcéus, Régine Philippe. Camilus is also working with WHDT TV of producing a new show “Younger Every Day with Cynthia Macgregor. Camilus graduated with bachelor degree in IT from Everglades University. He’s currently pursuing his MBA at Keiser University. Since 2005, he has been involved in the Haitian community and making film to entertain the community. He had attended several film seminars and received certificates.
