Régine Philippe


Biography:

Régine Philippe is a native of Haiti. She is a singer/songwriter, an Actress, a Telecommunications Specialist/PBX Software Administrator by profession. Ms. Philippe has 30 years of experience combined in the Telecommunications Management field, having worked for the NY City Marriott Marquis, the Boca Raton Marriott and at Florida Atlantic University.

Ms. Philippe is a graduate of Brooklyn College, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management with a minor in Communications.

Ms. Philippe was enrolled in classical piano at the age of six (6) and has been on stage since; singing, playing theatrical roles and has acted in four (4) Haitian films. Her first film was Puissance de la Foi, which picture won the 2014 MPAH Viewers’ Choice Award and which; Ms. Philippe was nominated; Best Supporting Actress for her role, against Sarodj Bertin, a nomination she is very proud of all.

Philippe started her acting and singing career at Erasmus Hall High School & Academy of the Arts in Brooklyn, NY. Ms. Philippe is a professionally trained in vocal coach. She has participated in several singing competitions throughout the years. Ms. Philippe is working on her second recording album, soon to be released.

Ms. Philippe is also the Advisor for Konbit Kreyòl, the Haitian Student Organization at Florida Atlantic University. She is an Executive Board member of the Haitian Empowerment Foundation. She loves her community and is very passionate about her culture. She continues to connect with her people. She is a voice in the Haitian & Christian communities.
